Nearby Peen’s Gastro Bar in Broadstairs, The Ambetter in Margate and The Minnis in Birchington also also well worth a visit.

Other places close by that I have heard good things about are:-

    Forts Cafe in Cliftonville

    Wyatt & Jones in Broadstairs

Tried The Minnis in Birchington and were very very disappointed, would not recommend it at all. Our review is buried on Trip Advisor which contains a surprising number of rave reviews for The Mininis – makes no sense at all as the place was filthy and the food was dire. Probably fine for drinks but the Restaurant was awful, we could not leave quick enough. Urban Spoon also has some good reviews on its site but they were from 2011, and it has obviously gone down hill – you will find our 2014 review at –
